If you are interested in drumming and carnival music and want to learn more, or are a musician wishing to improve your rhythmical skills and be part of an exciting local group, this is for you
Come along and enjoy a FREE Brazilian Carnival drumming class on 3 or 31 August 2010 and experience the energy and excitement of modern, Brazilian, Carnival drumming in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Our new 15 week drumming course starts on 7th September 2010 and will introduce you to our rhythms and music and could offer you the oportunity of joining Toque Tambor for the 2011 season!
The free classes and the drumming course are open to everyone - no previous experience is necessary.
If you are already a musician you'll find this course great for improving your rhythmical skill and knowledge.
All instruments are provided and earplugs will be available as our music is loud!
Our instruments are sourced from the best quality manufacturers in Rio de Janeiro and are the same as those used by all the Carnival bands there.
